Admission to the Texas Appellate Hall of Fame is open to only attorneys, judges, and court personnel who are no longer living. Inductees are selected based on their written and oral appellate advocacy, professionalism, faithful service to the citizens of the State of Texas, mentorship of newer appellate attorneys, pro bono service, and other indicia of excellence in the practice of appellate law in Texas.
