The Appellate Advocate is the Section's quarterly journal and is circulated to all Section members and the Texas appellate judiciary. It features substantive articles concerning a variety of legal issues of particular interest to appellate practitioners. The Advocate also contains update columns, which summarize the most recent appellate decisions from the United States Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit, Supreme Court of Texas, and the intermediate Texas appellate courts. Additionally, each issue of The Advocate features an interview with an appellate Judge, former Section Chair, or other person who has made a contribution to the appellate practice. Questions or comments can be directed to the editors at theappellateadvocate@gmail.com.
